Daily Logo Challenge: Bostin Coffee Co.

Day 6 of Harris Roberts' Daily Logo Challenge was to create a coffee shop logo. For this one, I knew I wanted to bring a bit of Birmingham to the logo and thus, Bostin Coffee Co. was born. For those not from around Birmingham, Bostin is a word often used locally to describe something as being great, excellent. So it was a good choice to use for a coffee shop brand and would have an instant familiarity to locals in the area.

Like most coffee shop logos out there, what's a coffee shop brand without including some sort of logo mark that relates to coffee, whether that be a coffee cup or a coffee bean. For Bostin Coffee Co., I decided to include a coffee bean to make the tittle over the 'i'. As my brand was also very Birmingham-focused, I also included a handwritten script like font to be able to include the phrase 'Hand-roasted in Birmingham'. This could then be used across the entire brand, on things like coffee bags.
